  Maypole Hotel c 1906.JPG - The Concrete and Maypole Hotel around 1906.Philip Cambray was landlord of the Maypole Hotel from 1897 to 1908, also called the Eagle Hotel during this time. Mrs Cambray was landlady from 1908 to 1925. Note the stables adjoining the inn ( behind the central tree ) and the very tall Maypole with what looks like a weather vane on the top.
